Say hi to our 5 new colleagues!
September’s here, which means it’s time for new beginnings! Our Instagram feed is flooded with photos of children having their first day at school and there are five mails in our inbox to welcome new colleagues. That’s an entire team of Avengers joining us in one day.
Andries Rousseau
Andries Rousseau is joining us as Machine Learning Engineer. 'In The Pocket seems like the kind of company filled with curious people, just like me. People that are intrinsically motivated to be ahead of the curve in tech, but who value the human aspect of the digital world just as much. I chose In The Pocket because – on an intuitive level – I felt it is a place that will welcome my enthusiasm and youthful ambition, and where I will be able to try new things and constantly learn from the best in the field.'
Yens Broothaers
Developer Yens Broothaers used to be intern at In The Pocket and is alumnus of our Summer Academy. ‘As an intern at In The Pocket, I learned a lot and had a great time. So I’m convinced it will be no different now. I'm looking forward to start working in Team Nebula!’
Bram De Coninck
'I love mobile app development, AR/VR and AI. In The Pocket uses all of these technologies. I want to learn as much about these technologies as possible and I believe that I can learn from the best at In The Pocket. I’ve already visited the company a couple of times for events and I really love the atmosphere', says new joiner Bram De Coninck.
Bjorn Robbens
We also welcome a new joiner in our Sales Team, Bjorn Robbens. He will take on the role as Business Developer. 'I have been following the activities of In The Pocket for a long time and I think the work you do for customers is awesome. Joining this rockstar team really feels like an honor.'
Bart Van Loocke
Our last new colleague is back-end developer Bart Van Loocke. ‘The development of quality software is more than a technical thing, it’s also a human one. During my interviews with different people with different roles within In The Pocket, I figured that the company has adopted that idea the most.’
With the addition of these five new colleagues, In The Pocket now consists of 117 developers, strategists, designers and more!
