We’re looking for a Strategy Consulting Manager to lead and grow our Strategy Consulting business.  The Strategy Consulting Manager is responsible for leading a team of consultants that provides the clients of In The Pocket with strategic advice in the fields of digital business strategy, AI & data strategy and CX strategy.

The Strategy Consulting Manager plays a crucial role in shaping the future of clients' digital strategies while leading a high-performing team at In The Pocket. This role requires a combination of strategic vision, leadership skills, and deep digital expertise.

What will you do?

As our Strategy Consulting Manager, you are responsible for:

Business strategy & management

  • Define the strategy, value proposition and service offering that make our strategic services a growing part of In The Pocket’s business.
  • Manage the team's financial performance in a proactive way, including pipeline development, revenue generation, profitability, and operational costs driving significant year-over-year growth in line with company targets.

Commercial leadership

  • Build, maintain and grow a relevant network of digital decision makers in the Belgian and European digital ecosystem to identify and pursue commercial opportunities.
  • Drive Business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding client accounts. You actively engage in presales activities to secure new business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them through complex digital challenges and helping them to unlock new business value. 

People management

  • Rally the team around the vision, strategy and value proposition
  • Define and uphold clear roles, responsibilities, goals and performance expectations
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to help team members achieve their professional goals, improve performance, and find fulfillment in their work.
  • Evolve roles & team structures where needed to match evolving business needs
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the right skills, tools, and methodologies to deliver high-quality consulting engagements and foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the team.

Operational leadership

  • Define and implement the right governance, processes and ways of working to successfully deliver on our strategic services towards clients
  • Oversee teaming, planning, service delivery and invoicing

Hands-on strategic project work

  • Lead strategic collaborations for customers, providing in-depth analyses and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior strategists and engage in high-level discussions with C-suite clients, blending creativity, strategic thinking, and industry expertise to solve complex challenges.

Who you are?

  • Digital Agency or Consulting Background: 10+ years in a digital agency, strategy consultancy, or similar environment, with direct exposure to client engagements. Ability to engage with C-level executives, advising them on digital initiatives and their business impact.
  • Strong Network: Established relationships with digital decision-makers in the Belgian and European market. Ability to leverage a strong professional network to drive business development and strategic partnerships.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building and coaching a team of (senior) consultants, fostering their growth and development.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for digital innovation. A Demonstrated ability to lead a strategic business line from strategy to execution in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving digital environment.
  • Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and internal teams. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, driving growth opportunities.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to structure, plan, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality client deliverables.
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of business models, digital ecosystems, and the financial impact of digital transformation. Experience in defining KPIs and measuring the success of digital initiatives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of (emerging)  technology trends, digital transformation and digital business strategy.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. French is considered a plus.
